Nesta noite faremos um concurso de Tag Digital, lançando a MalaTag, um case no estilo lambe-lambe adaptado para rodar o software Graffiti Analysis, que digitaliza os tags e envia para um servidor na internet, possibilitando a reprodução online dos traçados e a enquete que escolherá o melhor tag da noite. The G.R.L. / F.A.T. World Summit was held last week at the Cash Rules Everything Around Me Festival in Yokohama, Japan. In attendance was G.R.L. (Mother Cell), G.R.L. Utah, G.R.L. Brazil, G.R.L. Australia, G.R.L. Tokyo, G.R.L. Yokohama G.R.L. Kyoto & Tokyo F.A.T. (in absentia G.R.L. Mexico, G.R.L. Houston & G.R.L. Vienna).

Vídeo sobre a visita do GRL – representado por Powderly – ao Brasil em agosto de 2008, para participação no FILE – Festival Internacional de Linguagem Eletrônica. Por imposição sugestão do festival, as performances de laser tag seriam acompanhadas pelo piadista jornalista Maurício Ku Brusly para uma matéria no Fanático Fantástico da Rede Globo. A matéria realmente saiu, mas se esqueceram de citar o GRL, então tivemos que fazer nossa própria versão da história. O vídeo ficou meio grande demais, mas… É FANTÁSTICO!

This video was shot during GRL founder Powderly’s visit to Sao Paulo, Brazil for FILE – Electronic Language International Festival and edited for screening at CREAM International Festival for Arts and Media Yokohama 2009. Soundtrack by Sabotage (R.I.P.).

For that occasion FILE festival imposed suggested that laser tag performances should be followed by the comedist journalist Mauricio Ku Brusly for a plot at Rede Globo‘s Fanatic Fantastic show. Things didn’t go THAT nice about it and so they “forgot” to mention GRL in the program. That’s why we had to make our own story. The video is a little bit long but… IT’S FUCKING FANTASTIC!
